Gloucester Rotary offer boundless opportunities for youth to thrive and make a difference in their communities and beyond. From leadership development through initiatives like Interact Clubs, where young leaders collaborate on service projects, to Rotary student exchange programs that broaden horizons globally, Rotary fosters a spirit of service and understanding. Rotary Youth Leadership Award provides an opportunity to connect with other young adults and workshops to refine leadership skills. Through these initiatives, Rotary not only cultivates future leaders but also instils values of integrity, compassion, and resilience, shaping a generation ready to tackle the world’s challenges with empathy and determination.

Rotary Youth Exchange

Rotary Youth Exchange Program

Rotary Youth Exchange builds peace one young person at a time. Students learn a new language, discover another culture, and truly become global citizens. Exchanges for students ages 15-19 are sponsored by Rotary clubs in more than 100 countries.

RYLA

Rotary Youth Leadership Award

RYLA is a leadership development program for young people who want to learn new skills, build their confidence, and have fun. RYLA aims to provide leadership training experience for young people to assist them to be actively and effectively involved with their communities and their work place, to demonstrate Rotary’s respect and concern for youth, and to encourage continued and stronger leadership of youth by youth.

Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment

The aim of RYPEN is to provide an enriching and challenging experience for Year 7 to Year 12  high school students. The weekend camp is a balance of social interaction, speakers to assist the students in developing life skills, and challenging activities and adventures. RYPEN provides opportunities and challenges for young people to review themselves and where they are in life and their direction in the future.

Gloucester Interact Club

Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills and learn about the world through service projects and activities. Gloucester’s Interact Club was established in 2018 and have held many community events since, including; movie nights as fundraisers, Clean Up Australia Day events, scavenger hunts, and more!
